Life is a Dream
Life is a Dream
Long ago, Uzumaki Naruto, also known as Rokudaime Hokage restored peace to the Hidden Leaf Village, and restored order to the Shinobi world. After Naruto and the Leaf shinobi combined their power with shinobi from all over the continent to defeat the notorious Akatsuki members and their leader Pein. After the defeat of Akatsuki life has been, for the most part, a peaceful place for civilians and ninja alike.
It has been more than 150 years since Naruto's ascension to the rank Rokudaime Hokage. The ninja world has progressed into a new era and many things have changed. After the death of Uchiha Sasuke, the Uchiha clan's kekkei genkai, the Sharingan, died out, never to be seen again within this gap of time. Although their kekkei genkai died out, the Uchiha clan did not. As all of the Uchihas were dead without a doubt, the closest known relative to the Uchiha, Akame Hikari, the second cousin of Uchiha Fugaku, decided that he would be the best man to inherit the Uchiha clan's legacy, property, and wealth. He changed his name to Uchiha Hikari to honor the clan, and moved his family into the Uchiha compounds. Even though they have not yet returned the Sharingan to the Hidden Leaf, they have become even more adept fire users. Some of the clan's members are even so advanced that they have gained the ability to manipulate Youton, or the lava element.
However, even in this new era, some things remain the same. In addition to the eternal struggle for power between the villages, the bijuu have not ceased to exist and are still a symbol of power to the villages. As always, jinchuuriki continue to be active participants in the shinobi world, and as such they have served their roles as emblems of power within their villages. There have been a few attempts to revive Akatsuki during this time period, however the shinobi countries combine to wipe out these shinobi swiftly.
Shinobi traditions have been carried to this new era from the old. These have been the most peaceful times for the shinobi continent. All we can do is pray that it lasts...
